**NEW WASTE DROP-OFF FACILITY IN CLAY COUNTY**

Moorhead, MN - Clay County, Minnesota is pleased to announce the OPENING of its NEW Resource Recovery Center located at 3322 15th Ave N, Moorhead, MN!

We are extremely excited to combine ALL our FACILITIES into ONE CONVENIENT location for Clay County Residents to efficiently dispose of their waste. What makes this EVEN BETTER is that our location offers a DRIVE THROUGH experience. No more dropping off in the RAIN or SNOW. Simply check in at the Scale House to get started!

The Recovery Resource Center (RRC) will replace the City of Moorhead Transfer Station, the Clay County Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHWF) and the Clay County Electronics Recycling Facility in Moorhead. These facilities will permanently close Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

The Transfer Station at the RRC will increase efficiencies by removing undesirable material from the loads of municipal solid waste that is transported to the incinerator. This allows Clay County to recover cleaner material to send to the energy facility.

The RRC Resident Drive Through Drop Off will consolidate staffing allowing for regular drop off hours for all waste streams:
- 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday
- 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 8am to 11:30am
- Fee Schedule at RRC will be the SAME as the Clay County Landfill
